The biggest FREE such festival in all of Cheshire hits the ground running on Thursday the 23rd.
This after many many hours of planning; raising funds to the tune of some £16,000 from the very generous local businesses and quite a few from further afield. Plus great main sponsors, the biggest of which are the three Pubs and McCarthy and Stone, builders of National Fame.
Our very small team have worked their socks off in getting all ready for the big event and the next step is firstly to set up the Arts Exhibition in the Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday 22nd.
A fine range of local talent will be on display , with Sue Smart and Lynne Smith heading up those on duty over the three days when we are open from Saturday through to Monday .
See our programmes in the three pubs and village shops for the full detail of the music and poetry we are presenting for all to enjoy . Wide range of music to suit all tastes.
Each pub putting on special BBQ s and beers and the in drink, gins
Parking and camping on the newly acquired Turnpike Field in Green Lane. Only £5 a night and we have over 50 bookings for camper vans etc already.
