More names to check

Several of the photographs of people on Audlem Online (see Galleries/Village History/People) have recently had lots of new names and identifications added, mostly through the efforts of the Audlem History Society.

In some cases the identifications are tentative suggestions (usually displayed with a ?), and in some cases two (in one case three) different names have been suggested for the same person.

We have a particular problem with the names of girls on the school photographs since it is not always clear whether the names given are their maiden names or married names.

So any more suggestions for names will be welcome – just use the "assist" button when the photo is displayed.

• Audlem School gymnastics team c1952
• Coach Outing early 1930s
