Monks Lane Flooded Again

Our Northern Correspondent informs us that yet again Monks Lane has suffered a burst water main with considerable flooding.

This is the fourth time in recent weeks !

Our correspondent has been without water since last night and claims he has taken to using a thunder bucket as in his youth !

He has no statement from United Utilities as to the problem.
