Monique in new challenge

News on the tasks facing our own Iron Man – Monique Hollinshead.

You will recall her successes at previous Iron Man challenges when she has outshone all women and indeed many of the men. Well, now she is entered for a 10 Day Iron Man Challenge in the grounds of Avon Tyrell House in the glorious New Forest of Hampshire.

She will – each day – swim 2.4km, cycle 112km, and then run a marathon! Each day for 10 days!

At present she is the only woman entered. It all takes place from June 2nd. I for one wish her every success and am truly gobsmacked at what she can achieve. You may see her in training around the area before June 2nd arrives.
