If you haven't bought tickets yet for Midsummer Music on the Park it's worth getting your tickets now. Prices go up on Monday for this great Audlem event on Saturday 27th June. Tickets at the reduced 'advance price' can be bought at Audlem Post Office this morning and are on sale at a range of other outlets – see below:

TicketsAdvance Price (until 21st June)

  • Adult – £11
  • Child – £6 (Age 5 – 16)
  • Family – £28 (2 adults, 2 children)
From June 22nd

  • Adult – £15
  • Child – £6 (Age 5 – 16)
  • Family – £36 (2 adults, 2 children)
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A host of West End stars will be performing next Saturday 27th June in Audlem. Their credits are impressive!

Jae AlexanderMusical Director – Jae has conducted some of the biggest shows in London's West End: West Side Story, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Follies, Cats, The Hunting of the Snark, Crazy For You, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver! Grand Hotel, Guys & Dolls and Fiddler On The Roof. Many television shows to his credit, and Jae is in demand as a conductor of summer Classical Spectacular concerts working with The Royal Philharmonic, The Philharmonic and The English National Symphony.

Jill NalderCredits include Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, and original cast of Sam Mendes' production of Oliver!, Miss Mazeppa in Gypsy, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Annie, Nunsense, Sugar and Godpsell. Jill has appeared as Principal Boy in many pantomimes and worked extensively in concerts including Hello Dolly! with Chita Rivera, My One and Only and The Cole Porter Centennial.

Andrew NeweyWest End credits include Miss Saigon, Spread a Little Happiness, Out of the Blue, Pirates of Penzance and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Sweeney Todd and Assassins. With The Unconventionals, Andrew reached the Live Finals of The X Factor performing alongside Leona Lewis, Take That, and Lionel Richie.

Frances FryFrances has played Cosette in Les Miserables, original cast in Oscar winner Sam Mendel' production of Oliver!, Hey Mr. Producer, The Sound of Music, Mannerisms, Captain Beaky, Melancholy Baby,

Stephen WellerCredits include Stephen trained at Mountview, and his professional debut was Enjolras in Les Miserables, the title role in Martin Guerre, The Producers at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, Jerry Springer and recently Young Ebenezer/Harry opposite Shane Richie in Scrooge. Stephen has also performed in concert with performers including Martine McCutcheon, Michael Ball, Gareth Gates and Will Young.

Tim RogersTim graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia, and his performances in Australia included "The Phantom of the Opera", "South Pacific", as Young Ben in Sondheim's Follies, then as Freddie Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady. He also performed in the original Australian cast of Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar. Tim's UK debut was playing the role of Tony in West Side Story (West End & UK tour).

Since then he has appeared as Frederick in Doyly Cartes' The Pirates of Penzance at the Savoy and as Bobby in Putting it Together at the Manchester Library Theatre. He performed the role of Jerry in the smash hit tour of The Full Monty, and also The Man in the original tour of Whistle Down the Wind and at the Palace Theatre. Most recently Tim played 'Alex' in the UK Tour of Aspects Of Love.

The evening will close with a spectacular fireworks display by Blitz Fireworks. This promises to be a night to remember so bring your picnic and your friends to join us on Audlem playing fields for a very special village family event.
