Adam Lovatt

It is now two weeks since my husband Adam's Funeral and only eight weeks since his Tragic and Senseless Death.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our fantastic neighbours, customers and friends in Audlem who have wrapped us in a blanket of Support, Compassion and Love since Adam's death. Too many people to name, but you know who you are and we simply could not manage without you.

Thank you so very much to everyone who attended Adam's Funeral and to those who were unable to attend but still sent kind messages and donations.

We as Adam's family, were overwhelmed by the Attendance at his Funeral and the very Generous Donations made. All donations will be passed on to three charities.
Two of the charities were very close to Adam's heart, as they work tirelessly to increase awareness and acceptance of the two Medical Conditions that our children Jay and Declan have been respectively challenged with. Adam was the most amazing Father and Support to our children in this respect and the donations will be made in his memory.

The Critical Care Unit at Royal Stoke University Hospital will also benefit from donations as a 'Thank You' to them for their 'Compassionate Care' of Adam during his final hours with us.

We have received so many heartfelt messages from people who attended Adam's funeral who felt that the service helped to reflect the 'True' and 'Real' Adam. Adam was an extremely loved, loving, revered and respected individual by those who 'really' knew him and he is greatly missed.

We have also received messages by some saying that they 'wish they could do more, but feel scared to do so'. I can completely understand that when something so Violent, Meaningless and Tragic happens in our lovely Village it must feel overwhelmingly threatening and frightening, I feel your discomfort and pain.

However, I would say, 'I am not frightened'. When ones beloved Husband and Father to your children is so abruptly 'Ripped' from your life. When ones Future with that person has been 'Stolen', one no longer feels scared.

Those who did this to Adam know who they are, those who also had any part in generating completely unfounded 'Rumours' and a 'Grievance' against Adam know who they are. They may try to 'Cover' over the truth and justify their actions, but the truth will out in the end.

I make it my life's 'Mission' for lessons to be learnt from Adam's Death, so that every decent Husband and Father in Audlem, will have the 'Right' to go to their Local Pub for a Pint on their Birthday and be 'Safe' to do so.

I hope and pray that the 'Good' people of Audlem can find the 'Courage' to 'Stand with me' in my mission.

Much love and kindest regards
Clare Lovatt xx
