Memories of Audlem

On Thursday 9th January Audlem W.I. enjoyed a talk by Ian Jones about Memories of Audlem.

Many of the audience recognised Ian's friends and family shown in the photographs. When we saw pictures of old washing machines, small televisions and horses pulling machines and carts, memories came flooding back for many of us.

Ian's entertaining chatter and jokes made the whole afternoon a very pleasant experience.

As usual we finished off the afternoon with a delicious tea of sandwiches, cakes and other delicacies. Everyone agreed it had been a very pleasant afternoon.
