We are delighted that Dr David Holden will be joining the practice as a partner from August.  Dave has been doing locum cover for us on a Monday over the past months and from August will also be working on Thursdays and alternate Wednesdays.

Our practice website has recently been updated – if you have any comments please let us know.  As well as being able to order repeat prescriptions you can now book appointments online – to register please bring photographic ID and proof of address (e.g a utility bill) to our receptionists.

Have you got unused medicines at home?  Please let us know if you have items on your repeat prescription that you do not need – we are trying to reduce the millions of pounds that wasted medicines cost the NHS each year.  Some unused medicines can be recycled for use in developing countries – please pass them to our receptionists.

The first week of June was Patient Participation Group (PPG) awareness week.  Our PPG is looking for some new members (particularly younger patients to improve representation of this group) – please see the notice board by the front door for their contact details if you are interested in finding out more.

Many thanks for the Practice Trust Fund for the medical equipment donated to the practice recently. This charitable fund accepts donations and legacies from anyone and uses the money solely for the benefit of Audlem practice patients.
