As part of the ongoing programme of improvements to the Public Hall, a new stairlift has just been brought into service. This allows access from the ground floor of the main Hall to the snooker and committee rooms.

The stairlift was installed by Ableworld of Nantwich, most of the cost being met by a grant from the National Lottery "Awards for All" scheme.

The Public Hall Committee would like to make it clear that any joy riding by the over-80s on the new stairlift will be discouraged – speed limits must be observed at all times.
