Lost sheep return home to Wales

The lost sheep are returning home to Wales – see Wednesday's story 'Lost flock at Moss Hall'.

After numerous phone calls to DEFRA and Trading Standards, the owner was traced back to Welshpool and contacted.

The sheep had been at a farm near Nantwich for the winter, from where they had escaped and gone rambling down the Shropshire Union Canal towpath. The Welsh farmer has now collected the sheep along with a few others that had strayed.

So the mystery of the lost sheep is solved!
