This has got to be the best news story we have published in a long time.
We anticipate a line of thirsty Audlemites (all socially distanced of course) when Allan and Jo open the doors again on July 4th.

Allan and Jo say:-

It will have been a long 15 weeks since we were forced to close due to the Covid-19 outbreak until we are allowed to open again on July 4th, albeit in a limited way.

Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of those who have supported us during lockdown. You support has helped to limit our losses and put us in a position where we can look to open again.

We will continue with the takeaway service as we are aware many of you have enjoyed it and would like to continue to enjoy chef cooked meals at home. The service will remain the same, just call on 01270812277 to reserve a slot then place your order for collection or delivery. The menu will be regularly updated so please check the web site for the latest version

Immediately after lockdown we developed a fresh produce offering at a time when there were severe limits to what you could buy in terms of volume and variety, and offered a delivery service to those who needed it. This service has run throughout the lockdown and has met the needs of over 100 regular customers with variety and quality. As we are reopening soon and need the space as a restaurant again, the fresh produce market has closed at the end of yesterday, Friday 26th June, but we will continue to offer the fresh produce service on a next day basis. We realise that many who use the service are still shielding and for that reason we will try to continue it for as long as possible. So just call 01270 812277 as normal to place an order for next day collection or delivery. As ever the latest produce list will be available on our web site, click here.

We will also be continuing the frozen meal service developed in conjunction with ADCA and Audlem Parish Council. Although the list will be a little more limited, you can still get access to great chef prepared food you can store in your freezer and heat at home.

On to reopening ......... Yay!

As you will be aware the reopening of the hospitality industry is part of a phased and gradual approach to relaxing Covid-19 related restrictions, so with this in mind, and taking on guidance from government and industry bodies, we are excited to open our doors to customers again on Saturday the 4th of July at Midday. We will have new ways of working and a few restrictions, but will ensure all our customers receive the welcome and service they are used to at The Lord Combermere.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our customers soon.

Best Wishes and stay safe
