Long Ars to Wenlock Edge

The Long ARS walk next Saturday (March 12th) will be led by Connor McIlwrath on Wenlock Edge.

He describes it as a walk of approximately 10 miles along the Wenlock Edge starting from Wilderhope Manor YHA near Longville-in-the-Dale.

The route heads west following the Jack Mytton Way along the top of the Edge, and heads back along rolling countryside to the south, with about 400m of ascent.

We will leave Audlem Car Park at 8.30 am for just over an hour's drive to Wilderhope Manor YHA post code TF13 6EG.

We will meet Connor there at 9.45am and plan to start walking by 10am.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
