AudlemOnline has been watching with interest, as local singer Heidi Browne continues to make waves in the world of music. Heidi, who is a regular at Audlem Festival and well known in the village, won the national OpenMicUK competition earlier this month and has been receiving a flurry of media interest ever since.

BBC TV came across the story following a radio interview with Heidi on BBC Radio Shropshire last week. They arrived in Market Drayton for filming on Monday and the piece went out on BBC 1 Midlands yesterday.

With Audlem being the first village in the North, residents will automatically connect to BBC Northwest rather than Midlands, but we found the attached YouTube clip for anyone interested in watching the piece.

Anyone interested in learning more should visit Heidi's official website: www.heidibrowne.co.uk. This is also the best place to grab a copy of her latest album 'Lost in Grey' which was reviewed last week on AudlemOnline.
