Local Knockout finals day today

Today see the finals day of Audlem Cricket Club's Local Village Knockout, which has been devastated by the weather this year. This summer's rain has meant that not all of the group matches have been played. Therefore, instead of just having the semi-finals and final, there will be an additional two quarter-finals played to determine the semi-final line up.

Both Legal Eagles and last year's winners, The Usual Suspects, have qualified for the semi-finals and they will be joined by the winners of the two quarter-finals: The Bridge versus The Dark Side and The Black Lion versus Air Products.

The quarter-finals will consist of 8 overs for each side, with the other games reverting to the normal 15 overs per side. Matches start at 1.00 pm. So, if you want to have a day of great entertainment, take a trip to the Cricket Club, where the bar will be open all afternoon.
