Letter from Prime Minister to Rod

Regular readers of AudlemOnline will know much about the work Rod Cottrell does with his latest venture being the launch of the Overwater Wheelyboat service for disabled visitors where he raised approaching £30,000 to buy the boat and create the new dock at Overwater Marina.

Rod also created the Audlem Lass boat service four years ago which raises funds for the RNLI and has provided a popular new tourist attraction for Audlem with around 4,000 boat trips each year as it operates between Lock 15 and Overwater Marina each year from April to October at weekends and Bank Holiday.

He is also an enthusiastic and successful fundraiser for both the RNLI and Audlem Scout & Guide Hall which he and his wife Christine have looked after and modernised for many years.
