I run the Lord Combermere Quiz night and last night one of our regular quizzers showed me this photo he had taken whilst on a cruise . Taken on the Island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean.
A really lovely moment captured .

Editors note:- we spot a kingfisher along the canal occasionally around the Coxbank area (usually a glimpse of fast moving blue!). We were also lucky enough to visit Kerala and Kingfishers of several different species were quite common on waterways
