Cheshire Police crime figures for Audlem in June showed a total of eight crimes reported to police within a one mile radius of the village centre.

There were three reported cases of antisocial behaviour, two of burglary, one of shoplifting, one vehicle crime and one violent or sexual offence.

Two of the reported crimes of antisocial behaviour were in the village centre and one was on the edge of the village, on Audlem Road.

Separate burglaries were reported on or near Church View and near Mount Pleasant on the A525. No further action was taken on both these reported crimes.

The case of shoplifting was in or near Kingbur Place and investigations were still ongoing in June.

A report of vehicle crime was made on Paddock Lane and was still under investigation in June as was a report of violence in the village centre.

It compares with 12 crimes reported in Audlem village in May 2013.
