July Gardening Tips

A couple of gardening tips for July that I would suggest:

• When runner beans reach the top of the sticks pick out the growing tip to encourage side shoots and a heavier crop.
• 2 Rhubarb should not be pulled after July 1st to allow the leaves to energise the plant for next year to produce strong thick stems.
