From the Brazilian beach of Ipanema to Paris in the Springtime, by way of the A-Train, Jigsaw Jazz charmed and delighted the select, discerning audience at the White Lion on Easter Sunday evening.

We had gathered a party to take up the White Lion's offer to 'eat and stay for the jazz' and we're very pleased that we did.

The food was great, service warm and friendly and the music was relaxed, smooth and sophisticated.

The Chester-based Jigsaw Jazz trio brought together guitar, double bass and saxophone to bring the bossanova and jazz rhythms of a host of well-loved, toe-tapping standards in an intimate laid back atmosphere.

We left humming tunes and looking forward to more. Well done to the White Lion team for a great evening. The Bridge, the Shroppie Fly and the White Lion are three great assets to the area -- all of them going out of their way to offer more than just a good pub experience -- and they all deserve our support.
