Janice ready to walk the Walk

The Midnight Walk, taking place this coming weekend on June 28th, is a hugely successful and well supported fund-raising event for St Luke's Hospice.

This year is the tenth anniversary of the event, and Janice Spibey has taken part in every one of them.

As regular readers will know, Janice has an amazing record with, so far, over £12,000 raised by her participation, typically over £1,000 a year.

She says this success is all down to the people of Audlem: "I am so grateful to everyone: they are so generous."

Janice says she will continue joining the Midnight Walk, health permitting, as long as she can. "It gives me a focus, I love meeting all the people, and it encourages me to keep fit."

It will be a magical night on Saturday 28 June 2014 for the ladies only Midnight Walk, starting from Reaseheath College in Nantwich, with participants choosing whether to walk the half moon (6.5 miles) or the full moon (13.1 miles).
