Many thanks to all my generous sponsors for this year's Midnight Walk in aid of St Luke's Hospice.
I had had a rather busy day then went to Party on the Park before setting off to Reaseheath about 10.50pm to register before 11.30pm.
Walking to Crewe went quite quickly as I walked with a couple of ladies from Northwich. At the M.M.U. the ladies had a sit down but I wanted to carry on. (I would never have got up again.)
Coming back I kept giving myself landmarks. Wells Green traffic lights; Peacock roundabout; Crewe Road end and then Reaseheath. I arrived back at 3.50am, ten minutes earlier than last year!
I raised £1,181.00 plus Gift Aid of £187.50, the final sum being £1,368.50.
Over the past twelve walks my Grand Total is £16,499.20.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to everybody that has sponsored me over the past 12 years.

Audlem Online adds: We apologise to all our readers for the slight exaggeration in our headline. If anyone sees Janice today, please consider giving her the 80p to bring her up to the exact £16,500 figure.
More seriously, our congratulations to Janice for an amazing achievement. She is one of a small handful of ladies who have participated in every St Luke's Midnight Walk.
