It was AudlemOnline wot dun it!

(with apologies to the Sun newspaper and their famous headline on April 11th 1992)

Anyway, no sooner had AudlemOnline published hard-hitting, no-holds-barred articles about the state of Audlem roads, and ensured that reports about the problem were submitted to Cheshire East's website, than, Lo and Behold, your co-editor was stopped while driving out of the village on Cheshire Street by a gang of men mending the road!

It seems unlikely that the website's influence is quite that strong, but nevertheless it is good news that some remedial works are in hand, and we hope to be able to publish some more definite information about future plans for mending our roads shortly.
