Motoring madness: a result from video

There have been several posts on AudlemOnline chatbox following a piece of potentially dangerous driving being caught on camera.

This post has now appeared in the chatbox queue, and we thought it worth promoting to a story, since it shows that the "don't bother" attitude has been proved fallacious and potentially a good result all round has been achieved, with a timely intervention from the police.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted on this subject. The driver in question was our son. The police visited and showed the video and we were horrified.

Following the caution from the police, we discussed the events with our son at some length and are confident that there will be no more such incidents.

He was genuinely upset and now fully understands the possible consequences of taking any risks whilst driving. This was a far better learning experience than an actual accident, so particular thanks to Angus for sending the video.
