Beech Drive Community Centre has been working with Cheshire East and Wulvern Housing to deliver a free Computer Programme in Crewe and Nantwich.

Recently some people from Audlem attended a programme at Beech Drive and asked if we would deliver a programme in Audlem

We secured funding from Cheshire East and Wulvern Housing and are starting a 12 month programme on Wednesday mornings at Audlem Public Hall

The feature of the project is that we work with each individual to provide the support they need. It is often the case that someone can be working on digital photograph editing whilst their neighbour could be involved in word processing. Someone else could be having help with getting started with computing.

We will bring a supply of PCs with us but we encourage people to bring their own laptops with them.

The sessions will be from 10.00am to about 12noon or when everyone gets fed up, whichever is the soonest! We run the sessions as 'drop ins' – there is no expectation for users to come every week rather people tend to call in when they need some help.

Training is free but there will be a small charge for use of the hall.

There is also a loan project which may also be of interest for people wanting to borrow equipment but also for people seeking to get rid of old equipment.
