Issue of Audlem moorings

So... who remembers that a few years ago there was a stated intent to keep Audlem moorings intact and ongoing.

What were the exact details as the latest mooring auction has now been withdrawn and each pound that held 10 boats will now only hold 9.

This is the email I received from moorings man Rob Prigg yesterday: "We have now been asked to provide additional berths from the area to support the opening Higginslane Marina. Subsequently I have had to reduce the capacity of both Audlem Moorings to 9 berths each so this vacancy will not be re-advertised."

Can this issue be raised for input by Audlem folk, please, as this is a 20% reduction in online moorings in Audlem where the waiting list for moorings is never empty.
