Audlem & District Amenities Society (ADAS), who have been running their successful Hospital Car Service for a number of years, have recently asked Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA) to take over running the scheme from this Spring.

ADCA has currently got charitable grant applications pending that could contribute financially to supporting the scheme into the future.

ADCA and ADAS have now arranged a meeting of current voluntary drivers in both ADAS and ADCA who have been asked to come along to discuss the next steps in terms of obtaining people's ideas and suggestions as to how the service can best be operated into the future.

Topics to discuss include how people contact the service, the scope of the service, organisation of rotas and payments and expenses.

The meeting is to be held on Thursday 16th January at the Lord Combermere, Audlem Square at 2.30pm

Anyone else who wants to attend to find out about the Hospital Car Scheme or who wants to find out about becoming a voluntary driver is very welcome to come along.

People who are interested but unable to attend the meeting are welcome to contact Ronni Briggs (ADCA Coordinator) on 07845 495973 or ronni@chapelhouse.org or Roger Millns, (ADCA Chairman), on 811375 or roger.millns@lineone.net
