The history event 'Audlem Rembered' over the weekend – Friday evening and Saturday – was a huge success.

Hosted by Morris Residential at Cedar Court on the Corbrook Estate, the opening evening was well attended, with lots of connections and stories exchanged over a glass of wine.

The exhibition the following day continued to attract more visitors and further pieces of the jigsaw that is Audlem's history came forward. Many brought documents, photographs, letters and family trees which Celia Bloor of Audlem History Society readily recorded.

A guided tour of the original Corbrook Country House was gratefully received and the splendour of the original Art Nouveau design and fixtures was breathtaking.

The Event's Organiser, Jenny Boulton, would like to extend her gratitude to all involved and with a special thanks to Celia Bloor for all her hard work.
