Historic Narrow Boats at Transport Festival

The Audlem Festival of Transport is coming up on 31st July.

As well as hundreds of vintage cars, motorcycles, commercial and farm vehicles parading through the village and parking up the playing field, there will be much to see on the canal at Audlem Wharf.

There will be a Gathering of Historic Narrow Boats by Audlem Mill and the Shroppie Fly. We understand from Peter Silvester at Audlem Mill that there's been much interest and it will be well worth walking down the recently improved footpath from the playing field to Audlem Wharf on the day.

More details when we have them on the boats coming to Audlem for this event which is proving to be an attraction on land and water, and often, in the air too.
