Heartbreaking outcome to search for Daisy

As AudlemOnline readers have been aware, we have been searching for our beloved cat Daisy since she went missing on 4th January, an unusual event, as she wasn't a cat that wandered far.

Sadly, yesterday, she was found in the garden of a nearby house a short distance from our home. Our treasured little cat had already passed away and all we were able to do was have a local vet confirm her identity via her micro chip and bring her home.

We are really heartbroken that this seven week search has come to such a painful end but we wanted to thank everyone who helped search for poor little Daisy.

Thank you also to all who offered kindness support, phone calls of possible sightings and understanding for our loss, especially the people who found her and contacted us so we could bring our much loved pet home to be laid to rest and finally bring us some small peace of mind, albeit much sadness as we have no idea what happened to her.
