Hankelow – Audlem path?

An AudlemOnline reader has asked about the creation of a pavement between Audlem and Hankelow which he recalls was discussed by the two parish councils about a year ago.

"Has there been any progress on this?" was the query.

The last we heard there had been a meeting with Morris Care, the operators of Corbrook Court which is at the position between the two parishes where the pavement peters out. We understand a number of possible routes through their land was discussed at that meeting.

Does anyone know more as connecting the two parishes with a safe path would appeal to a number of people that may wish to walk safely between Hankekow and Audlem.
