Great cricket reports throughout season

With the season now complete, this will be the first week in six months without the cricket reports to enjoy on AudlemOnline.

The webteam would like to thank Paddy Leese, Tom Kural, Leo North, Zar Ahmed, John Wainwight and Geoff Seddon (who also co-ordinates and edits the reports) for all their hard work filing great reports on the 1st and 2nd XI matches since April.

Both teams have enjoyed successful seasons and we are sure our many readers have enjoyed equally their informative and entertaining match reports.

Headline of the year? Well, it was a clear cut choice – 'Appleton crumble'. The report was by Zar Ahmed (although Geoff Seddon could well have had a hand in the headline) and reported how the 2nd XI win over Appleton on August 15th, with the opponents bowled out for 123, avenged a thrashing delivered by the same opponents earlier in the season.

Fortunately for local sports lovers, the football reports by Ralph Warburton are proving equally entertaining reading.
