Gravity is a menswear store which opened in the village in August 2010. It stocks a range of brands and will appeal to a wide age range of customers. Along with both casual and smart clothing there are accessories, watches and bags.

Nathan Good has been a resident in the village for 6 years and opened the doors of his new venture to customers from Audlem and its neighbouring communities on 21st August.

"I have had my own business for a while but this is my first venture into clothing. I feel there is a gap in the village for menswear and hope that I will attract a wide range of men with the styles and products I will be stocking".

New stock arrived recently from Gabicci Vintage. First launched in 1973, Gabicci embodied a look adopted by the 'Northern Soul' music scene. In the '80's the brand appeared in the early 'casuals' look, Gabicci and the iconic metal G quickly became the brand mark of the day.

Lately, several key music style leaders and sportsmen have been spotted wearing Gabicci Vintage, and the brand featured heavily in the new Nick Love re-make of the '80's film 'The Firm'. Through this continuing association both with football and the young music scene, Gabicci Vintage is again the brand to be seen in.

Current designs pay homage to key original knitted styles, together with jersey tops and polos inspired by archive photographs and original samples, all bearing the iconic gold 'G'.

Quality yarns and fabrics are used throughout the collection in colours which are both rich and bright. Polo shirts are in 100% cotton, whilst the knitwear is finely knitted cotton with a cashmere-like finish or high quality merino wool blends.

Gravity is situated in Shropshire Street in the new Moseley's Yard.

It's the ADAPTability event in Audlem on Saturday 2nd October at the Methodist Church Hall. One of the aims of that day will be to encourage local shopping. Audlem Online will be featuring local shops – eight new ones have opened in the past year – over the next ten days or so.
