Golf Day for Macmillan

Three Counties Independent Financial Services from Nantwich is hosting a Charity Golf Day at Brookfield Golf Club, Hankelow near Nantwich on Friday 5th August to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Gary Vernon of Three Counties comments: ‘We are organising this golf day to raise funds for Macmillan following my wife’s breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Bev is receiving treatment at the moment and Macmillan have been a great help to us, providing both practical and emotional support.

‘We are hoping to raise £2000 at the event which will help Macmillan provide support to other people affected by cancer. It's £100 to enter a team of four in to the golf tournament including a two course meal. There will also be a raffle on the night and numerous prizes to be won.’

‘We are also looking for local companies to sponsor a hole for £25 so if you are interested in entering a team or would like more information please get in touch on 01270 611155.’

Sarah Page, Fundraising Manager comments: ‘I am delighted Three Counties are supporting Macmillan with their golf day this year. The money raised will help Macmillan to continue providing vital support to people with cancer and their family and carers.’
