George Beaman's Funeral Arrangements

For those of you wish to attend the funeral and celebration of Life day for George Beaman the details are as follows

Date Wednesday 22nd July 2026

Meet outside Rose Cottage, The Green, Vicarage lane Audlem CW3 0BB at 2.15pm we will sing Auld Lang Syne this was George's wishes.

For those who may not be able to walk up to the cemetery please wait inside the entrance to the cemetery on Cheshire Street CW3 0AH

We will then walk from The Green to the cemetery where Emily Bartram was (Hufton ) our celebrant for the day will conduct a short service and George will be laid to rest.

We then invite everyone to the town hall for refreshments, a continuation of celebrating George's long life will then continue and we will sing Auld lang syne again for those who can't meet at the Green, if anyone could bring a cake on the day this would be a great help the town hall will be open from late morning or a posy of wild flowers for jam jars on the tables would also be greatly appreciated.

As there has been an overwhelming show of love and respect for George we really have no idea how many people to expect ? If you could pm with a yes or a maybe that would help enormously with the plans to feed everyone !

Please wear something you're comfortable in, George never wore Black !
