Further road closures announced

Cheshire East Highways have, at short notice, extended their current resurfacing work schedule in the Audlem area to include the A525 from Paddock Lane out to the county boundary.

This week will see patching and other preparation work completed (13th, 14th, 15th June), whilst the resurfacing is scheduled to occur between 21st and 30th June with the road scheduled to be closed daily between 9.30 and 3.30 between Paddock Lane and Buerton – although it should be noted that as work started today traffic lights were been put in place allowing traffic to through.

As the work is weather dependent, it may well be that the road will not be closed every day.

The preparation work is scheduled to be carried out overnight but has commenced today during the day.
