Funky weekend

Funky weekend fans may be wondering why there is no date for Funky 2010. The answer is that regrettably, the funky co-ordinating team are unable to put on a full Funky weekend this year.

The usual weekend for Funky (immediately before the school holidays) is unavailable and other weekends which would be suitable during the summer are either also taken or unsuitable for the organising team.

It is hoped that we will be able to put on the popular Funky live music night and maybe a marquee based activity during the preceding afternoon. A date for this has yet to be decided – so watch this space.

The co-ordinating team are confident that the Funky weekend will return in full in 2011 with some new ideas and a fresh look.
