Anne Baker (a member of our community) is raising funds for a homeless organisation in Crewe (LATH – Looking After the Homeless).

Anne is asking for donations of unwanted Christmas Gifts or donations of some of those things which clutter up our houses which she will then sell on at a Car Boot Sale and Table Top Sale (Coffee Morning). 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the homeless.

LATH in conjunction with other local organisations (including the Salvation Army and the YMCA) does a lot to help the homeless by providing shelter and hot food a couple of days each week and they are hoping to expand their offerings but need funds to achieve their aspirations.

So when you are busy clearing out or struggling to find a home for things you don't really need or want please consider donating them.

Items can either be dropped into Liz & Ian at the Fat Pigeon in the village or give Anne a call (for the bigger donations) on 07803 936 682 and she will arrange to pick them up.

Thank you all for your help (and of course cash donations would also be very welcome...). When the funds are raised we will arrange to post a notice to let everyone know how much was raised.
