Frozen Footpaths Warning

Please be very careful if venturing into, or around, the village on foot today due to the icy conditions on the pavements.

We have already witnessed, and heard of, several falls and slips as the conditions are really quite lethal at the moment. Fortunately, nobody has been seriously hurt, but several people have been badly shaken.

So do take extra care – especially if you are one of our more senior residents.
Better still, if you do intend to go out shopping, and you have elderly and/or infirm neighbours please call on them to see if you can fetch their shopping for them today – it really isn't fit for them to be walking in these conditions.
