Former footballer Frank for fete

Former Irish Republic, Manchester United and Arsenal soccer star Frank Stapleton is to open Hankelow Village fete on Sunday June 23rd.

As well as gaining 71 caps for the Irish Republic, Frank had a hugely successful domestic career with Arsenal (75 goals) and Manchester United (60 goals) between 1974 and 1987.
