Flu Jabs at Boots

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this lovely weather. Dont forget to pick up your sunscreen from us!

Some key information...The NHS has requested that in healthcare settings such as ours that masks should be worn (Unless exempt) and that social distancing should be maintained.
Where there are no longer specific restrictions on numbers in the building, I must ask that people only enter the store if there is enough room for everyone to keep their distance.

I realise we are mid heatwave and school holidays are just beginning, but, it is time to book a flu jab here at Boots!This year is expected to be very busy again with lots of people taking up the offer of a flu vaccine. We are running several clinics for both NHS and private flu jabs from 17th September and have appointments available through til end Oct. Please call 01270 811245 or pop by and we will get you booked in.

Those eligible for NHS influenza vaccination in 2021 to 2022 are:

* all children aged 2 to 15 (but not 16 years or older) on 31 August 2021
* those aged 6 months to under 50 years in clinical risk groups
* pregnant women
* those aged 50 years and over
* those in long-stay residential care homes
carers
*close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
*frontline health and social care staff employed by:
a registered residential care or nursing home
registered domiciliary care provider
a voluntary managed hospice provider
Direct Payment (personal budgets) and/or Personal Health Budgets, such as Personal Assistants.

We are unable to vaccinate under 18s here at Boots Audlem.

I have been asked to re-post the following information...Please allow yourself plenty of time to order your prescription and only order what you need.
Allow 7 days between ordering your regular repeat prescription from your surgery and collecting your medication from us. You can leave your mobile number with us and we will send you a text as soon as your medication is ready.
Urgent medication, including antibiotics, pain relief and end of life medication will be dispensed as a priority. Please inform us ASAP if your prescription is urgent.

In store ordering is still available. We can be your Boots large store! Just pop in or go to Boots.com and you can order items for collection from us.

And finally... Free NHS rapid COVID tests are still available.
