A fireworks Appeal

Congratulations to Ralph for his efforts to re-instate the fireworks for New years Eve.

But I would ask that it is unlike 2017 when the event seemed to consist of louder and louder bangers. The house shook, well up Green Lane and the dogs were terrified. Contrast that to the Party in the Park a real spectacular show with reasonable bangers. The dogs appeared untroubled.

Dogs and cats are very sensitive to sudden loud noises, which can upset them for a long time.

Whilst some advocate sedatives these are not always effective and surely prevention is better than treatment.

So please can we have a spectacle not an artillery barrage on 31-12-18
