The Fire Fighters Charity Car Wash at Audlem Fire Station takes place tomorrow Saturday 16th March.

Between 10.00am and 2.00pm firefighters, with the help of fire cadets and volunteers, will wash your car and also provide you a vital road safety information pack to take away with you.

The Charity was set up in 1943 out of a desire to help wounded fire fighters and provide support to their families during World War II. It exists to help members of the fire and rescue community who put their lives on the line every day to save others, whilst providing support for their families.

Just recently Audlem's firefighters have attended several road traffic collisions mentioned in Chatbox and as a village we rely on people willing to commit time outside of their full time jobs to serve the community as retained firefighters.

We look forward to seeing you at the fire station on Saturday.
