Films shows at the Public Hall which have been enjoyed over the last few months are now temporarily suspended as Reels on Wheels, the company that provides the films, takes a break from providing films to rural areas during the summer months.

At their recent meeting, the management committee of the Public Hall heard that the experiment of showing films in the Hall had been a success, both in financial terms and in the support received from residents. It was agreed that Reels on Wheels should again be asked to come to the Hall when their new season commences in either September or October.

The films shown so far have been The Queen, Hoodwinked, The History Boys, Charlotte's Web, Miss Potter and Amazing Grace. All of these have been well attended and well received by the audience.

Audlem Online will bring you details of the next films to be shown when they become available.
