Friends of Audlem School Association (FASA) would like to say Thank You to everyone who donated their textiles to the school.

The collection, which took place on 23rd January, collected a combined weight of 574kg and converted into money, has raised a fantastic £287 for Audlem St James Primary School.

We would also like to say that we could not have achieved this figure without the help of Williams' Newsagents who have been distributing bags through the shop, leaflets through the Sunday papers as well as acting as the Rag Bag drop-off point for the community.

But it all doesn't end here! We are planning another Rag Bag collection for May, but if you can't wait until then, you can use the Rag Bag bank, which is sited at the main gate to the school.

#Co-operative Community Fund
We are very happy to announce that Friends of Audlem School Association were recently awarded a grant from the Co-operative Community Fund.

This is a little known fund that The Co-operative build up, partly from dividends donated by Co-Operative members, which is used to assist schools, fundraising organisations and charities to purchase much needed resources.

Following a short application process last September, we were awarded the grant of £2,000 just before Christmas. It is to be used to purchase six Visualisers, one for each classroom in the school.

We would like thank The Co-Operative Community Fund for their support.
