Enya's fund raising progress

Enya is working hard towards raising the funding for the World Challenge expedition to Costa Rica in July, and has made good progress.

Most readers of Audlem Online will know about Enya's Books which has been a good fund raiser. It's also a much appreciated Secondhand book shop in Audlem, with many regular customers and donators of books.

On this coming Friday, Enya has also arranged a fund raiser at Hoc's Fat Pigeon in Cheshire Street, a Pampered Chef Event.. There will be nibbles and things for all, so for an early evening change, this will be a lovely little event for all.

It's £2.00 entry and your ticket goes in to a prize draw. The Pampered Chef range of kitchen gadgets is well known and is of very good quality. The event starts 7.30pm.

Enya's target is £3500 which is a tough target to meet but, at present, over £1500 has been raised and placed with World Challenge. So, with time running short, the balance is being actively worked on and with her part time jobs, fund raisers, and hopefully sponsorship from the business sector, this target should be met.

Enya has really appreciated all the help and support to date from the village, and would like to thank everyone.
