End of year thoughts

It's raining again
Raindrops are hitting the windows
Not falling on my head!
I'm glad to be indoors.

These are just some thoughts
I have on a cold December 'noon.

It's nearing the end of the year
Another year has almost
"Bitten the dust"-
As the saying goes.

What will January bring
And the following 11 months?
Who knows?
We'll find out eventually.

We will just live, love and be happy,
Healthy, we hope, and possibly wealthy.

We have our memories,
Our dreams and our faith.
We are who we are
And always will be!
Glad to be alive.
