Elderly Lady Takes fall

Yesterday morning an elderly lady took a nasty fall in the Square near the Lord Combermere where ADCA had been holding their coffee morning.

Fortunately Veronica Briggs, the ADCA coordinator, and Clare Lovatt (who is also a nurse) from the FineFoodies Deli, a paramedic and policeman were quickly on the scene to help, together with workmen from Cheshire East, who were repairing the road.

First responders and an ambulance attended and although she had a nasty injury to her arm/hand and face, she was rumoured to have asked for a gin and tonic when she was taken into the Lord C to help recovery.
Unfortunately the ambulance crew overruled this, we understand.
