Egerton String Concert

A toe tapping evening had by all last Friday at St James Church in Audlem when the Egerton String Quartet performed a concert of Abba & Beatles Music by Candlelight.

Performing a number of well known songs by the two famous groups, the audience could not stop themselves singing along!

The Quartet performed to a full audience taking up every available seat in the church. Refreshments were served at the interval.

Commenting on the event, Rev Alison Fulford said, "'It was wonderful to gather in St James with so many friendly people. The church was filled with candles and as the sun went down, this provided a magical atmosphere. Egerton Strings were excellent and their music was fun and uplifting. I can't wait to see them again."
