Editor back home

The webteam are pleased to report that AudlemOnline's editor, after sixteen days in Manchester Royal Infirmary where he had a major operation, is now back home in Audlem.

Bob and Helen would like to say a huge 'Thank You' for all the cards including those from the school, ARS, the two art groups, AWEG and so many individuals, the messages of support, help with driving. It has all been uplifting and has played a big part in getting back on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, the plan to look like George Clooney after the operation has proved a disappointment – see previous stories on AudlemOnline – and Bob now sees he is more suited to one of the title roles in Beauty and the Beast – and it certainly ain't the Beauty!

Bob is also very grateful to the members of the webteam for keeping everything going so well in his enforced absence and was particularly delighted that November proved to be the most successful month of this year in readership terms.

The webteam hopes to meet in the next few days to plan the coming days as we run up to Christmas,and in particular, how we can help local traders at such an important part of the year.
