Easter Open Weekend at Marina

The Overwater Marina, a mile north of Audlem, is to have an Open Weekend at Easter.

The Open Weekend will run over 23rd – 24th April from 10.00am – 3.00pm on each day. The marina is within walking distance of Audlem.

For those wanting an alternative to the towpath walk, much of which will feature a newly laid surface by Easter, you can ply the canal from the bottom of Audlem locks to the Overwater Marina on the new boat that will have been launched on its canal service by then – see separate story on Audlem Online today.

The marina is also opening a brand new RYA Cheshire Cat Training Facility which will provide Inland Helmsman, Diesel Engine Maintenance and First Aid courses.

There will be a "mini boat show" with open boat viewings organised by the marina's brokerage office, Rugby Boat Sales.

The Overwater Coffee Lounge and the workshop run by Audlem Boat Company will be open too.
